The Spanish Rallycross Championship held its third round of the 2024 season on 1 and 2 June in Calafat. On the spectacular track of the Tarragona circuit, Pedro Matador won the CrossCar RX category with his Speed Car Wonder.
The young Cantabrian driver, who had started the campaign with a second place in Castelo Branco followed by the disappointment of being deprived of the victory in Miranda de Ebro because his car did not meet the minimum weight, showed in Calafat his great pace already in the qualifying races, winning Q1, Q2 and Q3. Three victories to which he added the triumph in the final, a race that was particularly complicated due to a red flag interruption for an accident and in which he won after a thrilling duel with Diego Martínez from Madrid.
