The 2025 season in the Spanish Rallycross Championship got underway on 12 and 13 April in Miranda de Ebro. The competition in the town of Burgos provided a very positive start to the campaign for the Speed Car Wonder drivers, with Marco Matador and Diego Martínez taking a double in the Crosscar RX category and Hugo Fuertes getting the third place on the podium in Junior RX.
Total domination of the Speed Car Wonder in the opening round of the Crosscar RX category. In the qualifying session, the two best times were achieved by two of the drivers of the model manufactured by Industrias Lahoz, Diego Martínez and Marco Matador. Both also took the top two positions in semi-final 1, with Marco winning ahead of Diego, followed by Álvaro Gutiérrez, third with another Speed Car Wonder.
In the final, Matador started from pole position and maintained the lead until the chequered flag to take the victory with a nearly five-second advantage over Martinez, who completed the Speed Car Wonder double. Less lucky was Álvaro Martínez, who was unable to complete all six laps of the race and had to settle for sixth place.
A very satisfactory debut in the Junior RX category for Hugo Fuertes. After his time in RX Training, the young driver from Madrid made his debut in the CERX in Miranda de Ebro at the wheel of a Speed Car Wonder. Hugo set the third fastest time in the qualifying session, was also third in the semi-final and got the same position in the final to complete a remarkable weekend by climbing to the third step of the podium.
