The Spanish, Andorran and French 2nd Division Hillclimb Championships shared the stage from 30 May to 1 June at the Pujada Arinsal. The competition organised by the Automóvil Club de Andorra was valid for all three championships and Speed Car was present in all of them. In the Spanish championship, Edgar Montellà reached the final podium after finishing third overall with his Speed Car GTR. In addition, the Andorran driver ended up in second position in both Category 3 and Class 11, results that allow him to maintain the lead in both classifications when the first half of the season has been completed.
In the French championship, Jerome Jacquot dominated the CM class by setting the fastest time in both races of the two rounds held over the weekend. In Saturday's race, the Speed Car GTR driver also finished ninth overall in the Sport Category, beating a good number of sportcars and single seaters, while in Sunday's race he finished just outside the top ten overall. The presence of the Speed Car GTRs in the double event of the French Hillclimb Championship 2nd division was completed by Vivien Tonon, who was fourth in the CM class on both days, finishing sixteenth overall in the Sport Category on Saturday and seventeenth on Sunday.
As for the Andorra Mountain Car Racing Championship, which held its inaugural event in Arinsal, there were also two drivers who took part with Speed Cars. The best classified was Ramón Plaus, who placed his GTR in second position of Group 7, fifth in the Sport Category, while Manel Guiral was third in Group 6 and eighth overall in Sport with his more veteran Speed Car GT1000.
