The 2025 Spanish Hillclimb Championship held its fifth round on 5 and 6 September on the Los Loros hillclimb. The competition in the Tenerife town of Arafo marked the return of the series to the Canary Islands after four years and was dominated by local drivers, with Javi Rodríguez taking overall victory in the national classification in his Speed Car GTR. The Tenerife -born driver set the fastest time of all the CEM AUTOhebdo SPORT participants in the three race heats and, in addition to taking first place overall, he also won Category 3 in both the national and regional championships.
The success of Speed Car was rounded off by another driver from the island, Carlos Pérez, who finished second in Category 3 of the Spanish championship and Category 2 of the Canary Islands championship with his GT1000. Another Canarian GT1000 driver, Francisco Rodríguez, also took to the podium, in his case in third place in Category 3 of the regional championship.
