On 5, 6 and 7 September, the fifth round of the 2025 Spanish Autocross Championship was held in Miranda de Ebro. The Burgos competition once again had more than a hundred entrants, with Speed Car well represented as its drivers achieved three podium positions. Quim González and Pol Durán finished second and third with their Wonder cars in Car Cross, and Andrés Iglesias was third in Junior with another Wonder.
Bad luck for the two drivers who competed at the Antonio Vadillo circuit in the Buggy category with models manufactured by Industrias Lahoz. Felipe Lodeiro had to retire on the first lap of the final with his TTR and was classified in tenth position, while Igor Aguirrebeña was unable to start the decisive race with his TTX.
Speed Cars once again played a major role in the Car Cross category, as usual the most numerous in a CEAX event. In Miranda de Ebro, no fewer than seven Wonder cars manufactured by Industrias Lahoz reached the final of the top fifteen after going through the always demanding qualifying rounds. Four of them also finished in second to fifth place after a very competitive race. Quim González, who crossed the finish line in second place, and Pol Durán, who finished third, less than two seconds behind his teammate, took the podium positions. Joan Salichs crossed the chequered flag in fourth place, just six tenths of a second behind, ahead of Marco Matador, who ended up fifth after the eight laps of the race.
The other Wonder drivers at the finish line were Alfonso Fontán, who finished in eighth position, and Joaquín Fontán, who ended up eleventh, while Josep Aranda was unable to start the decisive race.
Speed Car had a double presence in the Car Cross Series category with a strong performance from both Wonder drivers. Miguel Ángel Herrero from Cantabria finished the eight laps of the final in fourth place, just over four seconds away from a podium position, and Jon Bikendi from the Basque Country finished fifth, just three seconds behind his teammate, to complete a remarkable overall result for the Industrias Lahoz models.
The promising young talents of Spanish autocross competed in another round of the Junior competition in Miranda de Ebro, with an outstanding performance by the two drivers who participated with Speed Car's Wonder cars. Andrés Iglesias from Galicia climbed onto the third step of the podium after crossing the finish line in third place. His teammate at Rallyactividad, Saúl Martínez from Asturias, rounded off the team's positive performance by finishing fifth.
