Mollerusa (Spanish Autocross Championship)

On 3 and 4 October, the Parc de la Serra circuit in Mollerusa hosted the fifth round of the 2026 CEAX Loterías Spanish Autocross Championship. The competition in Lleida produced a spectacular result for the Speed Car Wonder in the Car Cross category, as five cars of this model, manufactured by Industrias Lahoz, took the top five places, with victory going to the car driven by Aleix Costa, ahead of those driven by Quim González, David Meat, Josep Aranda and Alfonso Fontán.

Aleix Costa

Quim González
(2nd CarCross)

David Meat
(3rd CarCross)

Absolute domination by the Speed Car Wonder at Mollerusa. As well as being the most widely represented model – with more than a third of the thirty-six entrants competing at the wheel of the Car Cross produced by Industrias Lahoz – six of its drivers reached the final of the top fifteen and five took the top five places, achieving an extraordinary overall result for the Catalan manufacturer. Victory went to Aleix Costa, who secured his first win in the Car Cross category, capping off a perfect weekend by setting the fastest time in the timed session, winning all three of his qualifying heats and leading the final from start to finish. Just over a second and a half behind the winner, his team-mate Quim González crossed the finish line; this result, combined with the points earned from a first, a second and a third place in the heats, means the Speed Car driver heads into the final round of the championship leading the overall standings. The all-Speed Car podium was completed by David Meat, who finished third under the chequered flag after starting from eighth on the grid, having secured two victories and a fifth-place finish in the qualifying races.

Josep Aranda
(4th CarCross)

Alfonso Fontán
(5th CarCross)

Pol Durán
(11th CarCross)

Less than three seconds behind the Speed Car driver from France, his Escudería Mollerusa team-mate Josep Aranda finished in fourth place, also driving a Speed Car Wonder. Fifth place went to another Wonder driver, Alfonso Fontán, who rounded off a fantastic result for Industrias Lahoz’s Car Cross team. The sixth Speed Car representative in the final was Pol Durán, who started from sixth on the grid but was forced to retire on the third lap and ultimately finished eleventh.

Right behind him was his team-mate Jaime Ribas, who also made up a good number of places in the decisive race to cross the finish line in eighth place after starting from fourteenth on the grid.
